Spend a full day at Mawenzi Tarn Hut to acclimatize. Take a mid-day hike to a higher altitude to prepare your body for the summit challenge, following the principle of "Climb high, sleep low.

Begin a steep ascent across the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo. As the landscape turns into a moonscape with minimal vegetation, Kibo Hut (4750m) becomes your final camp before the summit bid.

Start your summit journey around midnight. Traverse volcanic scree and ice-capped terrain to reach Uhuru Peak (5895m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate the achievement and descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
