Mt. Meru

Mount Meru, a dormant stratovolcano situated 70 kilometers west of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania’s southeastern Arusha Region, rises to an elevation of 4,562.13 meters. On clear days, it can be seen from Mount Kilimanjaro. Depending on how it’s defined, it ranks as the fifth-highest mountain peak in Africa.
